Elder Updates • 6.11.2026

As the Senior Pastor search journey progresses, our reliance on the Lord becomes more necessary with each passing day. Our human limitations and imperfections are routinely evident, and yet, as 2 Corinthians 12:9 encourages us, His grace is sufficient for us and His power is perfected in our weakness.
God's word is filled with examples of imperfect people being used to advance His story for His glory. As the search team begins meeting with candidates, may the imperfections of our hiring process be magnified for His sovereign hand to guide us in power. May FAC and the Senior Pastor candidates be clothed in humility and faithfulness as we seek to be Spirit-led.

With Christ in us, we have such great hope! Please continue to join us in prayer and fasting through the upcoming milestones.

INVITATION TO PRAYER:
  • We are inviting the congregation to come along us in prayer:  Dear Heavenly Father, We come before you with grateful hearts for how You have cared and provided for our church during this season of transition.  We pray You will help us to trust in You with all our hearts and not lean on our own understanding.  In all our ways, may we acknowledge You as we watch You direct our path to bring the person You have selected to guide our church family as we move forward.  May we continue to wait on You as You lead our search team through the process of interviewing candidates who You have sent our way.  We thank You for the work You continue to do. In Jesus’ name.  Amen.
